Berkeley Free Clinic Operations Team Volunteer Application
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Operations team at the Berkeley Free Clinic!

We are seeking creative volunteers to build our clinic's infrastructure and the delivery of health services to improve the care we can offer to our community.

The Berkeley Free Clinic is a nonprofit health clinic like no other in the country. At the clinic, lay volunteers provide entirely free health services to our community under the supervision of volunteer health professionals. We are founded on the belief that healthcare is a human right, and profit has no place in our health care system. The clinic is run almost entirely by community volunteers in a collective structure, and our volunteers vote on every aspect of the clinic's function. As a result, volunteers at the clinic have a lot of agency over how the clinic runs and what it does.

We are forming a new section of the clinic and we need your help. The new Operations Team will coordinate smaller groups that take on projects affecting multiple other sections of the clinic. These could involve integrating new tools or systems and training other members/volunteers to use them, documenting our protocols for clinic-wide fundraising activities, or finding completely new ways to meet the growing needs of our community. We are in the process of creating a new branch of the clinic that has the potential to fuel our future growth. It is an exciting time to join!

Please fill out this form if this sounds interesting to you!

We are also looking for volunteer Co-Coordinator for the Operations Team. The co-coordinator will coordinate different operational projects at the Berkeley Free Clinic which involves managing the operations team members, coordinating cross-sectional quality improvement efforts, upholding stipulations in the BFC Bylaws and Ops Section Charter.
