1. Acceptance
of transfer students must not result in overcrowding of a class (22 students per class for PK-4; campus
average of 20 for grades 5-12).
2. Transfer
students must meet compulsory attendance requirements of at least 90% at
sending school and maintain that percentage while attending HDISD.
3. Transfer
students under 19, eligible for grades 9-12, may transfer to another
district once for athletic participation, with joint approval from both
districts and the student's parent/guardian.
4. Transfer
students must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in the HDISD
Student Handbook. (A copy is available on the HDISD website at www.hdisd.net)
5. Transfer
students should not have a record of discipline problems at the sending school
or become a discipline problem at Hull-Daisetta ISD.
6. Transfer
students should be passing all subjects taken at the sending school and be
eligible for promotion to the next grade.
7. Transfer
students will be expected to demonstrate a pattern of positive performance in
all classes and on all state assessment exams administered by HDISD.
