Eligibility: To become a vendor/booth sponsor
you must possess the necessary permits, licenses, and certifications if
required to sell your products or services. You agree to provide accurate
and up to date information about your business, products, and contact details
during the application process.
Booth Selection: We will place vendors in locations at our discretion. Please note you may be placed
against another booth. Site maps are designed at our discretion.
Food Vendor Booth Closure: Food booths will be closed when there is an immediate health hazard present inside the food booth. Depending on the nature of the hazard, corrective actions can be taken immediately to rectify the health hazard and reopen the food booth; however, in all closure cases, GIBBIA will consult Toronto Public Health prior to reopening of food booth(s). A food vendor booth must be closed for any of the following reasons: Food vendor has no water (operation suspended until water is available); Reports of foodborne illness; Gross unsanitary condition (food contamination);Food contaminated by pest and/or wildlife activity; Sewage backup/flooding; Fire.
Approved Food Source: All food sold/given/distributed must be from an
approved source - the facility at which food was
prepared, processed, or produced is inspected by a responsible regulatory body
(e.g., Toronto Public Health).
Non-Refundable & Rain or Shine Policy. I understand that booth payments are non-refundable, and this is a rain or shine event—no refunds or credits will be issued in the event of cancellation. If you are unable to attend due to illness, injury, or scheduling conflicts, please arrange for someone else to manage your booth on your behalf.
Liability Waiver. I agree and acknowledge that I will not hold Gerrard India Bazaar BIA, its board of directors, members, staff, or the Festival of South Asia events team liable or responsible for any loss or damage, including but not limited to theft, fire, water damage, or weather-related incidents.
