NAGPRA/CalNAGPRA Survey 2024

Thank you for taking time to complete this very important survey. Your participation helps ensure Cal Poly Humboldt accurately reports and consults on all Native American ancestral remains and cultural objects held by the University.

Reponses to the survey are automatically anonymous, but you may elect to provide contact information at the end so the campus NAGPRA team can follow up with you. If you do elect to provide your contact information, please know your response will be kept confidential.

After submission, our campus NAGPRA team will follow up with you to review, if you have indicated that you, your unit, or department hold human remains (regardless of ancestry) and any potential Native American cultural items, or if you have reported encountering any human remains (regardless of ancestry) and any potential Native American cultural items during your work or studies at Cal Poly Humboldt and have provided contact information.

(Cultural objects may include pottery, textiles (i.e. clothing), basketry, stone tools, stone ornaments, bone tools, bone ornaments, shell tools, shell ornaments, glassware, metal objects, artifacts, etc.)

AB-275 requires minimizing handling of the human remains, items and/or collections by using existing information in your records and visual inspections only. Please do not move or touch human remains, items, or collections.
