Computer Science Tutor List
Thank you for your interest in becoming a tutor for your fellow Computer Science (CSCI) students! There are many options for students to get free help through the Bold Center and through students employed by the department, so this application is specific to students interested in privately tutoring CSCI courses only.

If you have excelled in one (or more) CSCI subjects and would like to assist other students in those subjects, while simultaneously deepening your knowledge of the course concepts, please consider completing and submitting this application. Submission of this form grants the Computer Science Department permission to add you to a list of tutors for students who may be interested in pursuing a private tutor.

To be listed as a qualified tutor for a course, you must meet the following requirements:
  • Are an Undergraduate Student
  • Have completed the course through CU Boulder.
  • Have received a B or higher in the course.
  • Have received a B or higher in the course prerequisites.
  • Remain a current student in good standing with the Department of Computer Science.
  • You cannot privately tutor for a class number you are currently employed to assist in. You cannot tutor and CA/LA/TA etc. for the same class. If you are privately tutoring for a class you are assisting you will be fired from your department position.

The list of available tutors will be cleared at the beginning of each semester, and you may request to be removed from the list at any time by contacting Nicole Morris (nicole.morris-2@colorado.edu)
