2021-2022 AXIS Dance Company's Presenter Assembly Booking Request
Thank you for your interest in AXIS Dance Company's assembly program.

AXIS Dance Company offers mind-opening assembly performances for grades K-12. The programs showcase innovative contemporary dance choreography, that emphasize collaboration among disabled and non-disabled people that is virtuosic, accessible and inclusive to all. Due to COVID-19, we are moving our Assembly program online, allowing us to expand our reach to schools across California and the nation. This online format will include a 45 minute recorded performance, as well as the option to have an interactive Q&A with AXIS dancers focusing on dance and disability via Zoom for an additional cost. Our assemblies promote inclusion and equality for people with and without disabilities. Students will leave empowered and with a broader definition of what dance can be and what a dancer looks like. Our message is simple: If you have a body, you can dance.

Our Virtual Assembly is available for registration throughout 2021-2022 school year. Please note that dates for our Live Q&A can be scheduled from January 2022 onward; we will not be able to offer this service for all 2021 engagements. It is suggested that students watch the Assembly program within 24 hours of the scheduled Q&A date if you decide to book for March. We also ask if you book, please email us back and let us know the age range of your students and how many will be in attendance.

We are additionally available for in-person assemblies in 2022, dependent on Covid safety protocols of individual school districts on a case-by-case basis. Please make a note on this request form if you are interested in an in-person assembly.

For Virtual or In-Person Assembly Program & Live Q&A costs, as well as any additional questions your may have, please reach out toChris Ouellette, Company Manager, at companymanager@axisdance.org
