Police Peace PDX: RSVP
Police Peace PDX is an annual police forum focused on opening dialogue and access to resources for the community. The forum builds understanding and grows relationships with the local police force and other government agencies.

This year it will be held on Wednesday, May 2, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the First Unitarian Church (1211 SW Main St, Portland, OR 97205). This year"s forum will deviate from previous iterations in two exciting ways. First, we too often hear from attendants that they loved the event but want to stay engaged with the work. With that in mind, we have made a particular focus of this year's work how to enhance the long term impact. We our addressing this need through the creation of an action guide to pass out to all attendees. In addition, the overarching topic of police relations has been sub-categorized into three main areas of focus, in turn leading to smaller groups for activities and workshops.

This event is organized by Youth EducatingPolice, hosted by the First Unitarian Church and supported by United Way of WIllamette Valley.
