Please register to host by the Monday before your event. While we do our absolute best to accommodate all hosts, please understand we can only guarantee that your event will be approved if you register by this deadline.
The registration deadline to attend the event (for guests and for yourself) will be at 9 PM on the Wednesday night before the event. You will only receive funding for the amount of people who register by this deadline.
Nicole Levine, our Shabbat Across Cornell intern, will contact you after you submit this form. If you have concerns in the meantime, you can email her at email@example.com.
One of our goals is to foster a cohesive Jewish community, so please note that we will not be able to fund dinners that conflict with certain Hillel events.
Directions for obtaining funding for your event are below:
You will have two options for purchasing food for your event. The first option is to sign out a Wegmans Card from the Hillel Office, which will be pre-loaded with funds equal to $5 per person signed up for your event. If you sign this card out, you must return it one business day after you pick it up, or else you will risk not being approved for funding in the future.
The second option is to purchase your food from another source, or to cater it from 104 West!, Cornell’s kosher dining hall. If you choose this option, you can turn in your receipts to the Hillel office to be reimbursed for $5 per person signed up for your event. If you are ordering food from 104 West!, you must work with the Shabbat Across Cornell Intern to order your food at least two weeks before your event.
