Fire Board Member Application
Thank you for your interest in being part of the constellation that will guide Fire in growing it's warmth and impact in the Edison neighborhood in Kalamazoo. This form can introduce our Board Governance Committee to your strengths, and will be part of nomination process.

Process & timeline:
Board Governance Committee will read & review your application
Board Governance Committee or Executive Director will reach out to meet
Board Governance will make a recommendation to the larger Board by November
You will hear if you've been accepted by December
... and Orientation for your position will be in January.

There are six Board of Directors meetings a year, and each board member is required to be on one committee. This is an responsibility of about 5 hours a month.
