Mac Passport Competitors create one festival-exclusive mac & cheese recipe for Passport holders, sell approved regular menu items to the public, and compete for festival awards.

Selected competitors receive a sample stipend, marketing support, festival infrastructure, and eligibility for the Golden Noodle and additional awards.

I understand selected competitors pay a refundable Commitment Fee: $300

I understand competitors must compete in all three sessions of the festival, Friday, September 11 - 5 PM to 8 PM, and Saturday, September 12 - 12 PM to 3 PM and again 5 PM to 8 PM

I understand selected competitors are paid $0.50 per sample in the Final Sample Assignment, including the required 3% backup quantity.

I understand Final Sample Assignments are based on Passport sales by the published Production Deadline.

I understand the official Passport sample size is 2 ounces and the festival provides sample cups and spoons.

I understand the Passport mac may only be tasted by valid Passport holders and may not be sold as a full-size menu item.

I understand competitors must remain open for regular public sales during festival hours on each day they are assigned.

I understand running out of Passport samples before valid Passport holders are served may result in award disqualification and possible loss of the Commitment Fee refund.

I understand selected competitors must attend orientation, submit required documents on time, follow food-safety rules, and complete social media requirements.
