Application - recycLA SB 1383 Waiver Request
California Senate Bill 1383 (SB 1383) is a short-lived climate pollutants regulation that went into effect January 1, 2022. The goal of this mandate is to reduce California’s landfilled organic waste by 75% by 2025. Under this new regulation you are required to subscribe to an organics collection service and to separate all green waste, food scraps, and food-soiled paper (100% fiber based) into your green organics container.

However, you may qualify for a waiver if the property meets certain criteria set by the State and detailed below.  

This application may only be filled out by the recycLA customer (Person or legal entity subscribed for service) or their designated agent. The applicant will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of the waiver request and information on your waiver status.
