NY Tech Zine Fair Vendor Application
Welcome to the very first New York Tech Zine Fair! The NYTZF is an event for the (newly-minted) tech zine publishing community that aims to provide an accessible platform for artists, designers, zine lovers, technoskeptics/positivists, writers, engineers and DIY publishers to connect with audiences and circulate their work in a supportive community. This event will take place over two days (November 30th for private preview, December 1st open to the public). We'll have workshops and food, but the most important part is you, our vendors!

Please fill out this form to apply to table at the NYTZF. Because space is limited, the event will be lightly curated by a small selection committee. We are accepting all zines, posters, pamphlets, small press books, and DIY items. If your application is accepted, we will contact you the first week of November via email to confirm your space and with info on how to send payment.

We are asking all accepted vendors to pay $50 to cover the cost of table rental. NYTZF is an independent event with a not-for-profit mission. We are able to organize the event by help of generous sponsors and volunteers, but we still need to ask for table fee. If you can't afford to $50, please let us know and we will match you with a sponsor.

If you have questions or would like more info, please contact nytechzinefair@gmail.com.

P.S. Here are some of the things we include in our definition of tech zines: educational explainers about computing; activist zines about harnessing technology for community aims; zines that highlight personal experiences with social media or mobile apps; graphic novels about a future with robots. If you're engaging with some aspect of technology, we'd love to see your work!
