Application To Host "The Bar Productions" Season 7
📢 We're looking for 2-4 UTS LSS Members who are confident communicators, curious thinkers and natural entertainers to host Season 7 of "The Bar Productions" Podcast in 2026.

This is a standout opportunity to get involved with the LSS, speak your piece, grow your network and contribute to one of our flagship student platforms. You will also have the opportunity to meet and interview special guests and form lasting, professional connections.🎤

The Hosts will be responsible for:

  • Hosting fortnightly episodes recorded throughout both semesters
  • Brainstorming ideas and topics for each podcast episode
  • Researching and interviewing guests
  • Bringing your own perspectives, experiences and ideas to the mic in a respectful manner

🌟 This year, we’re excited to expand The Bar by featuring more interviews with standout legal guests and increasing engagement across our platforms. We’re looking for law students who are curious, articulate and enthusiastic about leading conversations — behind the mic, on camera and with guests from across the legal and broader professional community. We're looking for students who are engaging but also have the ability to be professional and respectful -  the podcast is released publicly and you are representing the LSS. If you have any experience in interviewing, please let us know in your application!

If your application progresses, auditions will be held on UTS Campus on Monday the 16th of February and Wednesday the 18th of February from 6pm onwards on both nights. You must be available for BOTH audition nights.

⏰ Applications close at 12 pm on the 10th of February, 2026.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Education (Publications) Directors, Grace Ryan and Luis Clarke-Nguyen at edu.publications1@utslss.com and edu.publications2@utslss.com.
