Express yourself through poetry! Join in our fun poetry contest by submitting a poem you've written anytime during the month of April.
1 winner from each of the following age groups:
- Kids in grades K-4
- Tweens in grades 5-8
- Teens in grades 9-12
- Adults, ages 18+
Entry forms are available online or in person at the library.
Contest Rules:- Poems must be submitted Wednesday, April 1 through Thursday, April 30th.
- Submissions must be original work.
- Library staff will vote for their favorites May 1-10
- Winners will be notified on Monday, May 11th- Winners must pick up prizes at Onondaga Free Library.
- Poems will not be returned to patrons- Please make copy of poem if you would like it for your records.
