NLA-MPLA Joint Conference 2017 Call For Program Proposals
Conference theme: Turn Up the Volume! On innovation, advocacy, and engagement

Conference Program Chairs:

Important things to know:

Proposals must be submitted by May 31, 2017.
Include as much detail as possible on the proposal form.
Programs will be selected based upon adherence to the conference theme, availability of space, and funding
In-state library staff members cannot collect travel, speaker fees or per diem for presentations with the following
exception: if their institution doesn’t pay travel and per diem, they may request those costs at state rates.
The contact person listed on the program proposal form will serve as a host for that program and will follow up with
the speaker regarding contracts or any special arrangements that need to be made.
All applicants will be notified in writing of the status of applications by June 30, 2017.
