Welcome to the exciting world of jump rope! Did you know there are competitive jump rope teams around the world? The Brampton Acro Ropers have been together for over 35 years. We are one of many teams in Ontario and across Canada.
Our recreational program is a non-competitive, rope skipping program for children 6 to 13 years of age. The program is taught by members of our competitive team, former competitive jumpers and parent volunteers. In a fun, non-competitive class, athletes are given the opportunity to learn rope skipping skills including single rope tricks and double dutch.
Participation in our recreational classes also includes:
★ a jump rope
★ an annual recreational membership with the Ontario Rope Skipping Organization (ORSO)
★ an annual recreational membership with Rope Skipping Canada (RSC)
★ an opportunity to attend a competitive team practice for free if so interested

St. Edmund Campion Secondary School located at 275 Brisdale Dr, Brampton (rear doors)
When:
Friday Evenings from 6:15 to 7:15 pm October 3rd to December 12th 2025, note: no class on Oct 31st Halloween

Make an e-transfer payment to bramptonacroropers@gmail.com by the end of the first class or bring cash to the first session.
Please note, a parent or guardian must complete an ORSO waiver and a RSC waiver in order to your child to participate in our recreational classes. These waivers are available on our website to be printed and scanned. Paper copies will also be available on the first session.
Due to permit regulations, parents must drop their children off at the gym except for the first and final session, where we will invite families in to see a showcase.
NOTE: You must submit a separate registration form for each child you wish to register.
