OUUNA Weekly Debate Signups MT18
This form is for OUUNA's weekly debate sessions starting in week 2 - if you are looking to sign up for the taster session in week 1 the form can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/ouunatasters

Debate sessions in Michaelmas Term will occur on Tuesdays weeks 2-6 from 7:30 - 9pm in the C Day Lewis Room at Wadham College. You do not have to be a member of OUUNA to participate in your first debate, however membership will be required if you wish to attend subsequent debates. The list of topics are as follows:

Week 2 - SPECPOL: The question of creating a Kurdish state

Week 3 - UNEP: Addressing the global microplastic problem

Week 4 - DISEC: Measures to disarm and dismantle violent extremist groups in Somalia

Week 5 - UNESCO: Ensuring free access to information in the post-truth age

Week 6 - UNHCR: Reforming the 1951 Refugee Convention

You are not expected to have prior knowledge about a country in order to represent it. In fact, you will learn more if you choose a country you know absolutely nothing about!

The OUUNA committee will try to cater to everyone's country preferences, however this may not always be possible. Country allocations will be released shortly after you have filled out the form.
