8/24/2019 Metadharma Registration Form
Saturday August 24th, 9am - 5pm.
Is it possible that the many crises of our time really boil down to a crisis of understanding what it means to be human?
There is a traditional Zen koan in which a student asks, “What is the highest, most profound teaching of all the buddhas?” His teacher replied, “An appropriate response.” Clearly, the 21st century is a very different time from Vedic India or Medieval Japan, and the multiple overlapping crises of our day require very different—and perhaps new and unexpected—responses.
Join Vince Horn and Michael Taft for a day of meditation, interpersonal work, teaching, and discussion around what it means to be a human being at this moment in history. This evolving approach, which they call “metadharma,” is an attempt to address the most pressing existential issues of our time—what we might think of as “an appropriate response.”
