PV PTA Volunteer Interest Form

Thank you for your interest in supporting the Prospect Valley PTA!

Our mission is to enrich the educational experience of every Prospect Valley student by supporting our teachers and staff, building community, and creating memorable opportunities for our students and families throughout the year.

To learn more about the PTA, upcoming events, and ways we’re making a difference, please visit our website: http://www.prospectvalleypta.org/

Whether you have one hour to volunteer or are interested in a leadership role, we’d love to learn more about your interests. Completing this form does not commit you to volunteering for a specific event. It simply lets us know how you’d like to get involved.

After you submit this form, a PTA volunteer or committee chair will reach out to find out more about what you are interested in and help connect you as opportunities arise throughout the school year.

Thank you for helping make Prospect Valley such a wonderful school community. Every volunteer makes a difference, and we’re grateful you’re here!

NOTE: Volunteering with the PTA does NOT obligate you to attend PTA meetings. If meeting attendance is keeping you from volunteering, please know that meetings are optional. We would love to see you at our meetings, but we understand that schedules do not always align. We strongly encourage you to find an area to volunteer in even if you cannot attend meetings or events - many can be done from home and in short time increments!

Room Parent Volunteer Request:

Are you interested in becoming a room parent for the 2026-2027 school year? Room parents organize and decorate for 3 classroom parties, organize teacher gifts, and participate in door decorating for Teacher Appreciation Week. There are typically 2-4 room parents per classroom.

Check all that apply.

General Volunteer Request:

The Prospect Valley PTA is organized into 12 collaborative committees that work together to support our students, staff, and school community.

Our committee structure encourages teamwork, shared leadership, and volunteer support across every area of the PTA. Rather than relying on dozens of individual committee chairs, each committee oversees a collection of programs, events, and initiatives, making it easier for volunteers to contribute, learn, and grow into leadership roles over time. Learn more about what each committee does here: http://www.prospectvalleypta.org/officers--committee-chairs.html

Check any areas of volunteering that you may be interested in helping with. Periodic volunteering does not obligate you to stay on a committee unless you want to.

Leadership Request:

The PTA is an amazing place to share your talents and leadership strengths. The best way to move into more leadership with the PTA is to shadow someone in an existing role.

Are you interested in shadowing a Committee, Team, or Event Lead so that you can move into a leadership role next year or in future years?

Check all that apply.
Special Skills and Talents Request:

Do you have a special skill set or training you would like to share with us (design skills, DJ, event coordination, accounting, etc.)? Please tell us about it! Sharing your skills with the PTA is an invaluable opportunity to support your child's school, bring your talents to the community, and enjoy a fulfilling experience.
We welcome your ideas and feedback!

Any other ideas or requests regarding the PTA volunteer process that you want to bring to our attention?
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
