United Methodist National Summer Staff Exchange Program - Summer 2025 Participant Application Form
Thank you for your interest in the National Summer Staff Exchange Program! This initiative offers summer staff the opportunity to work at a different UMCRM-affiliated camp, gain leadership experience, and explore diverse ministry settings. We are excited to help you grow in your camp ministry journey!

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or meet legal staff age requirements for both your primary and host camps).
  • Have previous experience working at a UMCRM-affiliated camp (at least one summer preferred).
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in camp and retreat ministries and a willingness to explore the field as a potential career path.
  • Honor your summer staff contract, which includes participation in the exchange experience.
  • Have flexibility and adaptability, as different camps may have varied cultures, schedules, and traditions.
  • Fulfill all background check requirements, payroll documentation, and hiring procedures as outlined by both your primary and host camps.
