The Mission of the Lakeside Club is to enhance the lives of its members through fellowship, knowledge and fun while supporting non-profit organizations that serve Manistee County. All proceeds from the Tour or Homes are distributed to nonprofit organizations. Lakeside Club is a 501 (c)3 Nonprofit organization.

Property Owner Expectations:
Host homes/properties/gardens (“Homes”) must be open to the
public during the entire length of the tour, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on July 18,
2026.
Homes should have no hazardous conditions in areas open to
the public. However, tour visitors often find work in progress, before and
after photos, and plans for future renovations to be very interesting and these
are welcome.
Property Owners shall not cancel participation in this event
after June 1, 2026. After this date tickets, press releases, brochures and
information will be printed with your address included.
Property Owners must carry general liability and property
insurance.
Lakeside Club of Manistee County Agrees to provide the
following:
Volunteers to assist at your tour site if needed. Property
owners are asked to find friends, relatives, and neighbors to assist. Contact
Angie Quinn, event chair, by June 1, 2026, if you need further assistance.
Volunteers are needed to act as greeters, answer questions, and direct traffic
through your property. Usually 3-4 people are sufficient, depending on the size
of the structure, layout, or whether both house and garden are open to the
public. Also, consider dividing the time into two shifts so volunteers have
time to see the other homes on tour, if they choose.
- Brown or black 4’x4’ walk-on mats to be used at the entrance
or high-traffic areas. Disposable booties can be substituted upon request.
- Publicity, press releases, research, brochure photographs and
other print materials.
- Lakeside Club of Manistee County carries general liability
coverage for activities and programs.
