CodeEd Volunteer Application

CodeEd provides free coding classes to underserved middle school girls in NYC and the SF Bay Area. Our classes are held at schools and afterschool centers that serve low-income communities, and they're taught by teams of CodeEd volunteers (made up of tech industry professionals and computer science students) who are trained and supported by CodeEd's staff.

We currently organize two types of programs: classes and workshops.

CodeEd classes are typically held 1x or 2x per week during afterschool hours (3:30 to 5 pm or 4:30 to 6 pm) over the course of 10-15 weeks, though specific class times and program lengths will vary from semester to semester based on our partner organizations' needs.

CodeEd workshops are held over 1 or 2 weekend days.

Please fill out the form below to let us know that you're interested in volunteering. A CodeEd staff member will reach out to you to discuss opportunities that are a match for you.
