2019 NEDAA Keynote Speech Submission
Each year the Northeast District Alumni Association (NEDAA) of Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma selects a reading from an Active member as the Keynote Speech for the Convention. The topic is selected by the NEDAA and reflects a topic related to the Fraternity and Sorority, this year trying to reflect the theme of this year's convention: Mental Health. The entry will be selected by the NEDAA prior to Convention. The winning applicant will receive a $100 stipend and will be asked to speak at the opening of District Convention. Additionally, all entries may be selected to be published online at the NEDAA website.

The 2019 topic is:
The late-George Parks was known for his leadership and inspiration in the UMass Music Department and beyond. The saying “With Pride!” has resonated with musicians for decades. How do you personally interpret and represent those words within your chapter and college/university?

Application Deadline: Friday March 1, 2019 at 11:59pm

A winner will be selected within 5 days of the deadline. We will be contacting all applicants to keep you aware of the status of your application and whether or not you were selected. When we contact you, please be prepared to respond within 24 hours. If chosen, you will be reading your submission to the District at a joint session. In lieu of you reading, you can have a fellow chapter member read on your behalf.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact the Northeast District Alumni Association Officers at NEDAAkkpsitbs@gmail.com.
