Horizons for Youth Tutor Request 2024-25
Horizons for Youth aims to enrich the academic experience of each of our students. To do so as effectively as possible we consider, and invite you to consider the following expectations:

1. The student is engaged in school, maintaining a 90% in-school attendance rate. 
2. The student will participate in tutoring for a minimum of 16 hours.
3. The student will complete interval assessment (pre- and post- surveys and evaluations).
If virtual:
4. The student has access to functional tech equipment (with camera) needed for tutoring during their designated time.
5. The student is in an environment conducive for learning during their designated tutoring time. (proper tutoring can't place on a phone or in the car for example)

Note: If requesting tutoring for study skills and support, the student(parent) will bring or upload materials needed for each tutoring session.
