TMU launches new PHL studies for the prospective School Children who are in the 10th grade, university believes that they can add diversity and intellectual passion to the preliminary classes and strengthen their knowledge. The duration of study is two years generally consisting of four semesters. Students who are enrolled in the PHL will study the special courses of Foundation Program in a part-time status according to the program curriculum. Also, all PHL courses are scheduled especially in the afternoon by taking into account students' school timetable and this may help students to study PHL courses in parallel with their school classes.

If the applicant is in the 10th grade when enrolled in PHL:

The applicant will study two years by taking all required courses according to the chosen department. And, if he/she meets the Program Graduation Requirements given below, he/she will be directly accepted to the university for the second year.

Program Graduation Requirements:

❗️ To study all required courses (curriculum: )
❗️ To get a overall GPA no less than 2.0 for the entire program
❗️ To pass all courses and to have at least IELTS 6 upon finishing the program

The students who successfully graduate the PHL courses will have an opportunity to continue their studies from 2nd year in one the following Department & Schools at TMU:

✅  Bachelor of Arts in English Language and English Language Teaching
✅  Bachelor of Arts in International Business
✅  Bachelor of Arts in Management

✅  Bachelor of Arts in Marketing
✅  Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance
✅  Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
✅  Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education (PreK – Grade 4)
✅  Bachelor of Science in Economics

✅ Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Law

OR program graduates can continue their education from the 2nd year at the following partner universities:

✅ TURIN POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY IN TASHKENT
✅ WEBSTER UNIVERSITY IN TASHKENT

The minimum requirements for PHL admissions are as follows:

1. Applicant can apply for PHL admission if he/she has finished 9th or higher grade at school.
2. Applicant should have at least pre-intermediate level of English.
3. To pass the PHL entrance exam. Each applicant is required to take an entrance exam( Test in English) according to the chosen department as follows:
Exam subjects for English Education and Early Childhood Education: English
Exam subject for other departments: Math

*100 points scale is applied for each exam subject and minimum passing score is 50% of a total score

Annual Tuition Fee of PHL studies: (for 10th grade / two years) is 15 000 000 UZS
