Discovery Club is NOT a drop-in program. Parents are asked to ensure that their children attend regularly. Regular attendance is a grant requirement and benefits students. Students who miss three consecutive days without giving notice to the Discovery Club office may forfeit their place in the program in order to give a student on the waiting list an opportunity to attend. Students are encouraged to participate in other after-school activities at the school, such as sports or chorus, and may come to Discovery Club afterwards.

Discovery Club will adhere to the health and safety guidelines that are in place for the school day. Parents and guardians are expected to pick up their child should they begin to feel unwell. Please ensure emergency contact numbers in your application are current.

Openings are limited, with preference given to students who are recommended by their teachers as needing additional support. We continue to enroll students from the wait-list at the beginning of each month as space becomes available.

The Discovery Club office will inform you whether your child has been accepted or added to the waitlist. Your child cannot start Discovery Club until you receive an acceptance letter from the After-School Program.
