Previous Backstage Experience
If you have a lot of experience, you may bring a resume to the interview.
Please select your top three preferences for backstage role.
Costume/Hair/Makeup Crew (Help actors do their hair and makeup prior to the show)
House Crew (Welcome audience members, distribute programs, help audience find their seats, clean up the house post-show)
Assistant Stage Manager
Prompter (Provide lines to actors when they forget lines during rehearsal; take line notes to ensure actors are saying the lines correctly)
Sound Board Operator
Light Board Operator
Backstage Running Crew
List ALL conflicts between September 16th and November 2nd. You do not need to write a description of your conflict, but please list the appropriate time, and list your conflicts in chronological order. For example, if you have voice lessons on Wednesdays from 5-6 pm, write "Wednesdays 5-6 pm". Neglecting to list a pre-planned conflict on your interview form is grounds for dismissal from the production.

What to Expect at the Interview:
You will be asked to talk about your experience backstage (no experience is required) and your interest in the different areas of technical theatre. You may also be asked about your conflicts and your availability for rehearsals. You can expect to be finished no later than 4:00 pm.
