Dear Families,

I am excited to welcome any and all 5th graders to join the Day School 5th Grade Chorus!  Chorus is open to any interested 5th grader who likes to sing, would like to learn how to sing, and is willing to make the commitment to attend rehearsals and performances.  Chorus is a free activity.

Rehearsals:

Weekly rehearsals will be held in the Day School music room on Tuesday afternoons from 2:45-3:45 p.m.  Our first rehearsal will be Tuesday, October 10th. 

Students can come to the music room at dismissal time and should bring all of their belongings to chorus rehearsal.  I recommend that students have a quick snack at the end of the day before chorus starts.

Performances:

We will have a few performance opportunities and one field trip this year.  The annual Westford Schools Town Wide Chorus Festival will be held during the first week in February.  Each school chorus will perform for each other during the school day at Westford Academy, and families and friends will be invited to an evening concert.  

Information on an additional Day School spring performance will be communicated to families when available.  Stay tuned!
