2016 FIRST Lego League Coaches Training
The 2016 Northern Arizona FIRST Lego League Coaches Training will take place July 26-27, 2016 at Coconino High School in Flagstaff, AZ. The training is intended for teachers, parents, or other adults who would like to coach a FIRST Lego League team at a school or as a community team, or teachers interested in integrating FLL in the classroom. FIRST Lego League is designed for students in grades 4th-8th.

Participants will:
*Build and program LEGO robots
*Program robots using sensors
*Participate in all aspects of the FLL challenge, including the Project, Core Values, and Robot Game
*Compete in a mini tournament
*Brainstorm ideas to use FLL or Lego Robotics in the classroom
*See real students participating in the activities listed in the training materials
*Gain confidence needed to coach a team successfully this season

The cost for the training is $20 and includes light refreshments and training materials.

Training begins promptly at 8:00 am and concludes at 4:30 pm with a 30 minute lunch break each day. Training will take place upstairs in the science department of Coconino High School. Park in the visitor lot, sign in at the front office, and follow the signs upstairs.
