Pride Month Art Show @ Sip413
Thank you for your interest in showing your art at Sip 413 in Florence, MA!

Sip 413 is a coffee shop, cafe, and retail goods store owned and operated entirely by queer folk. We prioritize applications from those who identify as queer, BIPOC, disabled, and or have little to no experience with showing their work in a cafe setting. While applications from these folks are prioritized, everyone is welcome and encouraged to apply! All applications will be considered.

This year, we're putting together our first group art show for Pride Month (June 1st - June 30th, 2026). The theme of this show is food & community through the lens of LGBTQ+ experiences. Some things to consider are sharing food with chosen family, networks of care and mutual aid focusing on food security, labor dynamics within our food systems, reclaiming abundance and joy through nourishment, or any theme or experience you associate with food.

Applications are due on Wednesday, April 1st 2026 at 11:59 pm! Notifications will be sent out via email by May 1st. The show title will be shared in early May and will be inspired by your submissions!

Submissions will be displayed between our gallery space and a virtual exhibition. In-person space will be limited to select artworks, and we'll include all submissions relating to the show's theme in the virtual exhibition.

Our gallery space consists of
- two 30" x 8" shelves
- one 24" x 11.5" shelf
- five wall hooks/screws for hanging 2D work

Artists are welcome to show either 2D or 3D work, as long as the work fits into the weight and dimensions our gallery shelves can hold. Please note that some 2D work would "rest" on the shelves.

Artwork must be dropped off at Sip (90 Maple Street, Florence, MA), between Friday, May 29th and Sunday, May 31st. Specific time frames will be shared/decided with artists closer to install dates.

Sip 413 offers a 70/30 consignment rate with the artist keeping 70% of sales. All work shown is required to be for sale.

This show will be advertised on our social media and via Valley Arts Newsletter.
