Loving Our Cities, the community engagement arm of The Perfecting Church, is pleased to partner with the Food Bank of South Jersey to combat hunger by serving groceries with a side of hope to families throughout South Jersey.

Driver - Volunteers who are able to transport goods using LOC 16-foot box truck to/from pantry site. Valid driver's license required.

Loader / Setup Team - Volunteers who ensure goods are safely loaded, packaged, and unloaded in anticipation of clients’ arrival and prepare food pantry site for arrival of clients and other volunteers; ability to work on feet for three hours and carry loads up to 30 pounds.

Distribution Team - Volunteers who assist with assembling and distributing bagged goods to clients on-site, including loading vehicles as needed.

Loader / Breakdown Team - Volunteers who transport site overage back to LOC Hub and close down and clean up food pantry site once event has ended; ability to work on feet for three hours and carry loads up to 30 pounds.

Volunteer Check-In Team - Tech-savvy administrative volunteers proficient in the use of ipads and Microsoft Office to assist with registering volunteers.

Client Check-In Team - Tech-savvy administrative volunteers proficient in English (and Spanish if at Camden Charter School), the use of ipads and Microsoft Office to assist with registering clients.
