WVCTM "Golden Holtan" Mini-Grant Application Form
Deadline: December 20, 2024

Each year, the West Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics awards the "Golden Holtan", a $400 mini-grant for classroom projects named in honor of Dr. Boyd Holtan, a former mathematics education professor from West Virginia University and a long-time member of and contributor to WVCTM.

Teachers in public or private schools in West Virginia are eligible to apply, with preference given to past conference participants of WVCTM. Members of the WVCTM Board of Directors are not eligible to apply.

The award will be given at the banquet for the WVCTM conference. Awardees are encouraged to attend if possible. Preference will be given to members who have not recently received the award, though past awardees may receive the award. One proposal per applicant per year, please.
