This letter of intent is designed to help businesses identify where they are now, and where they are headed. Use this form to clarify if your organization is ready to tackle the serious commitment of diving deep into Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practices via a Beloved Community cohort. Who is committing to take a seat at the table?
A note about readiness for this cohort: In order to be best prepared for Beloved Community's Equity at Work Hospitality cohort, we require the named leader and leadership teams to attend a race immersion training that outlines how white supremacy culture is endemic to U.S society and therefore exists in, and must be dismantled from, every business and institution in this country. A few pre-requisite trainings that we recommend include Undoing Racism and the Racial Equity Institute. We require that the named leader of a business be able to name why being actively anti-racism is crucial to their business practices and workplace environment, especially when they receive push-back from direct reports, business partners, or customers. These race immersion trainings that we've recommended begin to give leaders the understanding and language to move forward anti-racist missions and values.
COHORT FORMAT:
3 sessions, 6 hours (Year 1: August 2024-Dec 2024)
3 sessions, 6 hours (Year 2: January 2025-April 2025)
Back half of 2025 will consist of 5 coaching calls to each business
