TEAM Program Sign-Up Form
The TEAM (Teaching Environmental and Agricultural Memories) field trip program is a unique environmental education program offered to elementary youth county wide in partnership with the Gold Ridge Resource Conservation District (RCD). The content of the TEAM program incorporates the significant role that Sonoma County’s characteristic agricultural landscape plays in environmental stewardship.
Due to COVID-19 we are currently not holding in person field trip programs. TEAM will eventually offer hybrid offerings, including a field trip option out to protected farms, ranches and local orchards possibly starting as soon as spring 2022. However, for now we are here to serve you virtually, in your classrooms or on campus.
The Gold Ridge and Sonoma Resource Conservation Districts have partnered with the Sonoma County’s Ag + Open Space District to take local 3-5th grade students on a virtual field trip to Open Field Farm, a protected organic, biodynamic CSA farm located in Petaluma. Our educators will guide your class on an interactive farm tour to learn about the farm ecosystem, visit the CSA barn to collect fresh produce, and buzz through the flower patch to study the farm’s tiniest farmers - pollinators!
Please complete the form below to receive the TEAM student journal and link to our virtual asynchronous program. If you would like to connect with a TEAM educator directly to arrange a classroom site visit to help facilitate this three-part program we will work to arrange this with you and your school as feasible.
Thank you for being part of our TEAM and supporting your students through this challenging time!
