Lunch and Conversation with IVSP Alumnus Aaron Shapiro
Join us for a lunch and conversation with Global Health IVSP Alumnus Aaron Shapiro in 2407 Marie Mount Hall on October 11 at 12:30-1:30pm.

Aaron Shapiro graduated from UMD, College Park in 2011 with an Individual Studies Program major in Global Health and a minor in International Development and Conflict Management. He was also one of the original Global Health Corps Fellows--in Rwanda. Aaron is currently getting his MD at Brown University and MPH at Johns Hopkins. He is a National Health Service Corps Scholar going into primary care with a focus on providing quality healthcare to people struggling with addiction, sex workers, people in and out of incarceration, and transgender people. Aaron is also the founder of Citizen Physicians, a non-partisan, non-issue-based start up organization dedicated to training the next generation of health care practitioners in effective civic engagement.
