MPD Virtual Seminar
Due to the continuing health emergency, the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is unable to host an in-person internship this fall semester. However, we will be offering a fourteen (14) week virtual seminar focused on the relevant discourses related to policing. Through this engaging program, you will meet and speak with police officers, police leaders, and experts in policing. The program will afford you the opportunity to ask questions and delve into the history and progress of MPD and policing as a profession. The seminar will culminate in a capstone project and presentation by each participant. Graduates of this program will receive a formal certificate recognizing their successful completion.
