Loyalsock Township School District Distinguished Alumni Award Application
The Loyalsock Township School District Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes the achievement of Loyalsock High School Alumni. These alumni serve as motivation for current students to excel, remind our faculty of the potential that each student has to make the community better, re-connects alumni to the schools, brings us together to celebrate the pride of our community and honor the achievement of the individuals recognized.
+ A Loyalsock Township School District graduate at least 15 years prior to the nomination
+ Nominees will have distinguished themselves through their work, personal accomplishments, and in the lives of others
+ Nominees must be in good standing in their community, past and present
+ Once a nomination is made it will be considered on an annual basis for 3 years
+ Nominee must commit to two days with the community, and an evening recognition event
+ The school district will cover his/her travel expenses
+ The award may be given posthumously
Nomination and Selection Process:
The completed nomination form may be submitted online. The deadline for receiving completed form is January 31st. The selection process for the Loyalsock Township School District Distinguished Alumni Award consists of review and recommendation from a committee of teachers, administrators, Lancer Foundation board members, and select panel of high school students.
