The Home Safety Survey is conducted by the Tallahassee Fire Department and is available to single-family dwelling property owners within Leon County. The purpose of this survey is to educate property owners on fire safety measures which can be applied within their homes.

To apply you must be 18 years of age or older and must be present at the property at the time of the survey. This service is available between the hours of 9:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. A 14-day notice is preferred to accommodate the request. If you have not received a confirmation of receipt from the Fire Department within two business days of the date of your request submittal, please call 850-891-6600.
