Roots Community Services - Social Enterprising & Entrepreneurial Development Program (SEED)
The SEED program offers a supportive and empowering space for marginalized women, 18 years and older,  to build entrepreneurial and career-development skills while prioritizing wellness, safety, and resilience. Participants are supported by experienced mentors and gain practical knowledge in areas such as business marketing, merchandising, accounting, and more, with guidance to help launch or grow a business or advance career goals.

In addition to skill-building, the program includes women’s wellness sessions and safety-focused discussions that cover essential information all women should know, fostering confidence, awareness, and informed decision-making. Through connection, community, and access to supportive counseling, SEED provides a holistic environment that supports both personal well-being and professional growth.
