2019 ILA Scholarship ($600)

It is the goal of the ILA Awards and Scholarships Committee to provide scholarships to those pursuing continuing education. This scholarship is used to provide financial assistance to ILA members participating in workshops, institutes, conferences, courses, or any other continuing education activity.

Criteria for the ILA Scholarship:
• Must be current members of the Idaho Library Association.

• Applicant must describe how scholarship will be used to participate in workshops, institutes, conferences, courses, or
any other continuing education activity.
• Applicant should be able to provide specific details regarding the exact courses or education needs that this funding will
be used for and explain the consequences if the scholarship is not awarded.
• If funded, applicant agrees to submit a written follow-up description of the funded activity for publication on the ILA website.

Applicants must submit a completed application, which includes all relevant fields filled out on this form, and two supporting letters of recommendation (Word or PDF) sent via email to committee chair, Rami Attebury at rattebur@uidaho.edu.

The deadline for the receipt of the completed application is JUNE 23, 2019.
The Award will be presented in a recognition ceremony at the ILA Annual Conference this October.
