GGPA is forming a diversity fellowship program with plans to develop the program in 2024 and launch the first cohort in 2025. Modeled after the AFP Atlanta diversity fellowship program, our aim is to provide mentorship, professional development, networking opportunities, and complimentary membership in GPA and GGPA for fellows to help increase the diversity and inclusivity of the grant profession in Georgia.

Eligibility Criteria
Please read the following before completing the application. If one or more of the requirements do not apply, please refrain from filling out the application.
Expertise: Significant experience (5+ years) in grant writing, grant management, or related fields, with a demonstrated track record of success.
Mentorship Experience: Prior experience mentoring or coaching others, either formally or informally, in grant-related activities.
Commitment to Diversity: A strong commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the grantmaking process and the broader field of philanthropy.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively guide and support fellows in their professional development journey.
Empathy and Supportiveness: Ability to empathize with fellows and provide support, encouragement, and constructive feedback in a supportive manner.
Availability: Availability to dedicate time and effort to mentorship activities, including regular check-ins, meetings, and review sessions with fellows.
Current Membership: Your GPA and GGPA membership status is active and up to date.
Residency: Be a Georgia resident, even if your employer is out of state.
