General Terms of Use for FPPL Google Apps for Nonprofit *
In May 2013, Friends of the Piscataway Public Library (FPPL) will offer Google Apps accounts to its life-time and current and active members for a suite of applications hosted by Google Apps for Nonprofit. These Services include Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Talk, Google Docs, Google Groups, Google Sites, etc. (25GB for email; 5GB of storage for Google Drive) with no advertisements. For Life-time membership, your account will never expire. For other types of membership, as long as your membership is renewed within the grace period of three months after your annual membership expires each year, your account will remain active. The Friends of Piscataway Public Library expects that users of FPPL Google Apps for Nonprofit must (1) agree and adhere to the Google Terms of Services (http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/terms/user_terms.html), Google Apps Acceptable Use Policy (http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/terms/use_policy.html) and Google’s Privacy Policies (http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/); (2) abide by all federal, New Jersey State, local and other applicable law; and (3) take reasonable and appropriate safeguards concerning the data you store and transmit. Your failure to comply may result in early suspension or termination, or both, of your account for the services by Google and by FPPL.
