Georgia Special Session RE: COVID-19
Governor Brian Kemp declared a public health emergency for the state of Georgia on March 14th amid growing concern of COVID-19′s (coronavirus) spread across the nation. Governor Kemp called for a special session of the General Assembly to convene at the State Capitol at 8 AM on Monday, March 16, 2020 to ratify this action through a joint resolution.The capitol is open to the public but encouraged not to attend due to level of risk and exposure.
