TEACHING SCIENCE WITH MODELS

Please use this form to begin your registration for the workshop "Teaching Science With Models: A Practical Workshop for Teachers", Saturday, May 20, 2017, 8:30 to 3:30 at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, 2001 Colorado Blvd. Denver, CO.

The workshop is intended for current middle and high school science teachers in the Denver metro area. While the focus of the workshop will be on Earth and space science, the principles of teaching with models will apply to other science areas, as well. It is being facilitated by the American Geosciences Institute (AGI -- www.americangeoscience.org) in collaboration with the Denver Public Schools.

The workshop is free, but registration is required. Completing this form does not guarantee a spot in the workshop. We need to verify information submitted. Final selections will also be made based on school system, subject area, and other factors. You will get a confirmation e-mail verifying your selection that will also have more information about where to meet and other logistics.

Registered teachers who participate in the entire workshop will receive a $175 stipend, lunch on the day of the work, and various teaching materials.
