Toronto - Montreal Bus - Milton Parc Conference - April 12-14
The Milton Parc Communautaire is one of Canada’s largest and historic Community Land Trusts in Canada.
. This year, in conjunction with Milton Parc's 30th anniversary, they are hosting a 2 day conference on April 12-14 called “From The Ground Up: The Community Control of Land, Housing and the Economy.” On the second day of the conference we will host a gathering of the Canadian Community Land Trust network.
This conference will be a great opportunity to learn about other CLTs and similar projects, and to share experiences from our community efforts. Also, the conference is free and Milton Parc has offered to work to find accommodation (house stays) for out of province attendees.
Joshua Barndt, of PNLT has proposed to coordinate renting a bus to take a Toronto area delegation to the conference.
