This is a weekend tent camp for West Coast Area Guiders, Rangers, Links and TMBR's at the Outdoor Education Centre Campground at Alouette Lake in Golden Ears Provincial Park, Maple Ridge. Wake up to spectacular views of the lake with the mountains all around. 5 camp skills sessions will be offered on Saturday capped by a rousing campfire. Optional out trips are offered for Sunday, at no additional cost. Choose from: a 5 hour guided voyager canoe trip on the lake (free for first 30 to sign up), a mountain hike on the Menzies trail, Geocaching Adventure or Circle Farm Tour (carpools will be necessary). Come be inspired, learn new skills and reconnect to the outdoors! All levels of camp skills welcome. Whether you are just beginning or are a seasoned camper, there is something for everyone! Base fee is $75.00 which includes site fee, meals, 5 skill sessions, campfire if allowed, and Sunday Out Trip. Saturday only costs are $50. Sunday out trip only is free for (for Voyager Canoe only first 30 participants free), with first consideration given to full weekend participants. Special event crest will be distributed at camp, as well as a mini usb rechargeable flashlight, with a carabiner to attach to your backpack . . . because you light the way for girls to get outside!

Registrations will be accepted until September 22nd or until the maximum number of participants is reached. Please make registration fee cheques payable to "GGC - West Coast Area".
