ClimbingQTs Trans and Gender Diverse Gender Affirmation Fund Application 2025

Terms and conditions

Individuals may resubmit their application multiple times if your circumstances have changed. Your most recent application will be considered for funding. If you are successful in receiving funding you will no longer be eligible for future funding. 

Applicants may request a maximum of $500 AUD. At the discretion of the ClimbingQTs Board full or partial funding may be offered. Applicants will not be required to provide evidence, remittance or receipts for evidence of their spending. The ClimbingQTs Board will approve a maximum of one application every two months as long as funding is available. 

Funding is currently only available for individuals 18 years and over.

Please note this application is for requesting cash funding to support gender affirmation, there is a separate funding stream if you would like to request financial support for: 

  • Travel or fuel vouchers to attend TransQTs events

  • Gym passes to attend TransQTs events

Privacy and confidentiality

This application form and the information you provide will be stored securely in a Google Drive folder accessible only by Melissa (ClimbingQTs president) and Tarkyn (TransQTs Coordinator). Every two months during ClimbingQTs board meetings, the board members will be able to view the applications for the purpose of assessing and processing the funding requests. If you would like this process to happen anonymously (as in, the board will see the information without your name attached) please let Melissa and Tarkyn know. 

At the end of each calendar year all application forms and personal information will be deleted to maintain privacy of your information.

I declare that the information provided in this application is accurate and complete to the best of my knowledge. At the time of submitting this I have not been successful in funding. I understand that providing false or misleading information may result in the rejection of my application.

I understand that if I am found to have provided false or misleading information I will need to repay funds within 30 days of the findings.

I declare that I will use the funding to gender affirmation as stated in my personal statement. If there are changes to how I would like to use the funding I will communicate this with the ClimbingQTs Board via the TransQTs Coordinator and seek pre-approval.
