Using Communications to Build Trust and Support for Newcomer Families
Join MSPRA on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from noon- 1p.m. for a free lunch and learn.

Do you know the difference between newcomer, immigrant, and multilingual/English Language Learner (ELL) families? What communication strategies could your district use to build trust and connect with this unique group of families and students? Hear from Washtenaw ISD Coordinator of Newcomer Supports, Puja Mullins, and others, on ways schools can better support these communities.

Please note: To provide a space for discussing ideas and challenges, we will not record this Lunch and Learn and will not allow AI note-takers.

Register now to join us on February 12th at noon for this no-fee, one-hour session. After you register, you will receive an email with the Zoom meeting link.
