Thank you for your interest in a student position with the LBCC Learning and Academic Resources Department. Please complete this pre-interview survey. After completing this survey, if you meet all the minimum qualifications, you will be provided with a link to sign up for an interview.

How many hours are you available to work? Please provide minimum and maximum hours. (Please note that to be an SI Leader, you must be available to work a minimum of 10-12 hours/week. Maximum hours available for all student work assignments is 20.)

Note: In order to work at LBCC, you must pass a TB Screening and a Live Scan fingerprinting (the Live Scan requirement is for workers who are NOT LBCC students.
Additional note: In order to work at LBCC, you must be a full-time student for the semester you are applying for. Will you be a full-time student this fall? (12 units for undergrad, 6 units for post-grad program). Units do not need to be all at one campus.
Tutors or SI Leaders must have and maintain a min. 3.0 GPA in the discipline they wish to support. Do you have a min. of 3.0 GPA in the area you wish to support?
To work at LBCC, you must be CRLA certified. We will provide this training (Tutor Training Academy - 15 total hours of paid training time) during your first semester of working for LBCC. TTA takes place over a period of 5 weeks on Fridays (there will be a late morning session option and an afternoon session option). Training will begin Friday, Feb. 22nd. Will you be available to attend TTA?
All new SI Leaders and Embedded Tutors MUST attend the pre-semester training, (SI Leader training scheduled for January 25th, 26th and 1/2 day of the 28th, Embedded Tutor Training TBD) and bi-monthly meetings throughout the semester which also takes place Friday afternoons from 1:00 to 2:30p. Will you be available to attend these meetings?
