The Skill Forge series has been crafted with the aim of not just familiarizing participants with the tools in our community workshop but instilling in them a deep sense of comfort, safety, and confidence in their use.

Our Mission: The primary goal of the Skill Forge workshop series is to provide a welcoming space where participants can hone their skills in a supportive environment. We want you to feel not just acquainted with the tools at DIYode but truly comfortable wielding them to bring your creative visions to life. Whether you're a seasoned maker or just taking your first steps into the world of DIY, Skill Forge is designed to meet you where you are on your journey.

What to Expect: Throughout the series, our experienced instructors will guide you through hands-on sessions that cover the essentials of tool usage, safety protocols, and best practices. A further series are introduced many skills and trades will be covered, from basic hand tools to advanced machinery. Each workshop is tailored to enhance your understanding and proficiency. But Skill Forge is more than just a technical training ground; it's an incubator for inspiration. We want to spark your creativity, encouraging you to embark on your own projects and discover the joy of making with the skills you've learned!

Skill Forge Terms and Conditions. By participating in our workshops, you agree to comply with the following terms. Participants must be at least 18 years old or have parental supervision to attend workshops. Safety demonstrations will be presented by the workshop leader and each participant must sign our waiver to participate. Afterwards, each participant is responsible for their own safety during the workshop. Payment for workshops is due upon registration. Workshop registration is non-refundable, but we may consider transfer requests on a case-by-case basis. Workshop content, including 3D models, designs, and materials provided, is the intellectual property of DIYode Maker’s Club. Participants may not reproduce or distribute workshop content without explicit permission. The workshop curriculum and schedule are subject to change at the discretion of DIYode Maker’s Club. Participants must adhere to all safety guidelines provided during the workshops. Proper safety equipment must be worn at all times when using machinery or tools. DIYode Maker’s Club is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during the workshop. Participants are responsible for their own belongings and tools. DIYode Maker’s Club is not liable for any lost or stolen items. Participants must treat instructors, staff, and fellow participants with respect. Harassment or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated, and DIYode Maker’s Club reserves the right to remove any participant engaging in such behavior without a refund. Participants may record and photograph workshop sessions without prior permission from DIYode Maker’s Club. DIYode Maker’s Club may document workshops for promotional purposes. Participants who do not wish to be featured in promotional materials must inform the workshop coordinator. DIYode Maker’s Club reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cancellation, participants will be notified, and alternative arrangements may be offered. DIYode Maker’s Club encourages participants to provide feedback and reviews. Constructive criticism is appreciated and helps us improve our workshops.
